About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jakarta, Indonesia, for a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher. The teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized education plans for students with diverse abilities. Daily responsibilities include teaching, adapting materials to meet students' needs, assessing progress, fostering an inclusive learning environment, and collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to support each child's development.
Requirements
Solid understanding of Special Education and experience working with neurodivergent individuals.
Strong teaching expertise, particularly working with primary students (age between 6-12 years old)
Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and adaptability to address the unique needs of diverse learners.
Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field, relevant certifications are a plus.
Previous experience working in an inclusive or special education setting preferred.
Proficiency in implementing creative and engaging teaching strategies.
